the 2022 holiday shop!

a cozy behind the scenes of the 2022 Easel on Stribling holiday shop.

Our aim for the holiday shop is to provide a curated, creative, and fun (yet sophisticated!) shopping experience - offering unique gift ideas for every USNA lover on your list.

It brings us so much joy to do so in collaboration with other small businesses we know and love.

This season we are celebrating your Navy story, our fellow community makers, and creativity itself!

Annual Ornament

It's back...

For the fourth year in a row we are pleased to bring you a signature ornament. This year's ornament is inspired by the one, the only, Bill the Goat.

Designed by Easel on Stribling and produced by Forever Firstie Design Co., we know this ornament will fill your home with holiday cheer and "the goat is old and gnarly" vibes.

Origin Story:

The annual ornament is an ode to a gift-giving ritual from Kristin’s childhood. Each year, her grandmother would gift her with an ornament from the same shop in a similar style. When she turned 18, she had a beautiful collection of ornaments and memories.

The annual signature ornament is one of our favorite projects to make. We hope your collection grows with you over the years!

About Forever Firstie:

Welcome to Forever Firstie! We're a family owned small business based out of Mount Airy, Maryland.  Brian is a member of the class of 2008 and Megan is a Maryland Terp - in April of 2018 we started Well Dunn Workshop which specializes in woodworking and laser engraving (welldunnworkshop.com).  After working with a handful of classes on their reunions we decided to launch a company with the specific aim of making their class crest more accessible and not just during reunion events.

2023 Wall Calendar

Enjoy Easel on Stribling paintings year round with the first-ever wall calendar.

This isn’t just for those currently at the Naval Academy- mostly blank except for a nod to a few USNA events, you will love this calendar even if Annapolis is in your rear view

This beautiful addition to your annual planning makes it easy to add what you like, while also making sure you don't miss a beat when it comes to special events on the Yard. Subtly, yet effectively of course.

Complete with a few infamous countdowns, this calendar keeps you as connected to USNA as you like, no matter where you might be.

Even includes a scavenger hunt!

USNA Bracelets

New in 2022, we are teaming-up with Copper Candid creator, Rachel, to bring you the USNA-inspired stack and singlet. The perfect combination of fashion and function, the iconic blue and gold speaks for itself. We are loving the anchor charm, too.

These fun and sophisticated bracelets make the ideal accessory for your next Army-Navy game, visit to the Yard, class reunion, or everyday look

The stack and singlet work great on their own or all together.

Meet Rachel:

Hi friends! My name is Rachel Putrino. I’m a military spouse & a medical professional currently staying home with our 3 wild, copper haired boys. This boy mama needed a creative girly outlet...hence Copper Candid was born!

My goal is to create stylish, affordable pieces that you can effortlessly pair with your everyday looks. I try to incorporate a variety of colors, styles and textures into my bracelets so that there is a little something for everybody.

This “nap time bracelet business” I’ve created has become such a wonderful hobby to keep my mind busy while my husband has been deployed. Although he’s headed home soon, I can’t wait to continue designing and hand-making these little pieces for you and your loved ones!

Fun Fact: Rachel’s husband was in the same company as Kristin at USNA! It is a small navy world indeed.

"Four Seasons" Print Set

A curated set of small prints, perfect for a nod to USNA in a corner of your home.

This “Four Seasons” print set features four 6”x8” prints of views of Stribling Walk at different seasons.

What’s included

  • four 6”x8” prints on fine art paper

  • the option (highly recommend!) to have each print matted to fit a 9”x12” frame

  • matted prints will be packaged in a clear fine art sleeve to protect from damage (and make for easy wrapping!)

Framing is not included, but we highly recommend Frame it Easy for a custom frame. Select 9”x12” for your picture size, choose your frame (no need for a mat if you select that option!) and the frames will arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Perfect For…

  • The new grad with walls to fill

  • The USNA parent that is smitten with the Yard

  • The salty grad that decided they like remembering USNA now :)

"Happiness Factor" Candles

Long time fans, this isn't our first time working with Lauren of Aweigh Candle Co. This military spouse comes up with the most delicious and unique scents. Our "Happiness Factor" candle is no exception and uses four of her best selling fragrances.

A literal source of warmth and joy this holiday season, not to mention the most unique stocking stuffer.

The "Happiness Factor" name comes from the calculation every Mid is tracking this time of year - Number of Christmas Leave days divided by number of days until leave. Always getting closer…

Meet Lauren:

“Thank you for supporting this military spouse/family! I combined my love of candles and our military life to create uniquely scented wax with equally unique names. You'll find a small explanation of each name on its candle page.

I welcome all name suggestions from service members and their loved ones. If you live the military life in any branch of service and want a candle dedicated to it, reach out! I would love to hear from you!!

Even if you are not living the military life, you are supporting it and we thank YOU! Hopefully you find that these candles give you a little insight and a snippet of the daily life.”

Chocolate

Made by our friends at Uniform Chocolate, the Chocolate Midshipmen and Chocolate Belt Buckles are sure to please.

Trust us, we know our chocolate and these are simply delicious. Wrapped in foil, this treat makes the perfect stocking stuffer. That is... if they aren’t eaten first :)
