Fine Art Print (Large and Small Scale): Big Front Door (Bancroft)

Fine Art Print (Large and Small Scale): Big Front Door (Bancroft)

from $45.00

Big Front Door (Bancroft Hall) (Originally 48”x60”)

This painting was originally a 4 foot by 5 foot commission, with the intent to showcase bright colors and make a nod to the U.S. Naval Academy.  This painting is looking upward at the front doors of Bancroft Hall, and can be printed on all sizes, up to full size.

Important shipping information: The full size prints need to be shipped freight. This price is included in the cost. If you would prefer to save on the freight shipping and receive the full size print disassembled, you can bring it to a local framer for stretching (this saves $300 ish dollars, but is one more step for you).

Print will have the painting wrapping around the edges instead of the typical black edges in most wrapped prints.

Please note the image has been blurred slightly for the internet display and copyright. Your print will be crisp and beautiful!

About Fine Art Prints

Giclee prints are a form of art reproduction commonly used today for high-quality fine art prints. When taken care of (not placed in direct sunlight or in especially humid environments), they can last up to 200 years.

**** All prints are made to order and will be ready to ship in 3-8 business days***

Paper Prints

Perfect for building a gallery wall! Paper prints need to be framed.

Paper will be the selected size, and there will be a 1/8” white inner border to help with matting if desired. You can frame either to the size of the paper, or have your print matted for more presence.

Canvas Prints

All prints are giclee canvas print with a matte finish on rolled or stretched canvas.

Rolled canvas is great if you love the texture of an original painting. It needs to be framed (with or without glass!)

If you’d like to receive your print ready to hang, stretched canvas is the way to go! Stretched canvas can be framed in a floater style frame, but doesn’t have to be. Edges will be black and can be 3/4” or 1.5” deep (if you aren’t sure what to do, I’d recommend 1.5”. It adds a nice depth for any size canvas!).

Framing

Frames are not currently being sold in this shop, but rolled canvases can easily be framed by any ready-made or custom made frames. You can frame stretched canvas as well, but you don’t have to.
